In occy, you are able to customise which notifications you receive, along with how you'd like to receive them. This article gives you a step-by-step overview of where to find your notifications, how to manage which email address you use to receive them, and how to change your notification preferences.

Where to View Your Notifications
To see your most recent notifications, click on the bell icon on the top right-hand side of your screen. By clicking on the View All Notifications option at the bottom of the list, you will be taken to a separate page where you can view and manage all of your notifications.
Navigating to your Notification Settings
To change your notification settings, click Settings at the left-hand side of your dashboard. Next, choose the My Account dropdown and then Notifications.
Here, you will see a list of the notifications available, broken down into four sections (Applications, Candidates, Company & Misc., and Job).
Managing your Notifications Email Address
Manage which email address notifications are sent to and add a secondary email address using the Manage Email IDs button at the top of the notifications settings page.
From here, you are able to see your primary email address and add an optional secondary email address by entering the email address into the field and clicking save.
Choosing How You Receive Notifications
In the highlighted area, you are able to choose whether you would like to receive notifications into the notifications area in occy (app), via text, email, or all three.
You also have the ability to turn off notifications for specific areas by de-selecting each option.
Choosing How Often You Receive Email Notifications
By selecting the dropdown option at the side of each notification, you are able to choose whether you receive email notifications and, if so, how often you receive them. This gives you the option to either receive an email for each notification or one email each day that includes all your notifications.
Staff Notifications
Keep the whole team informed of candidate progression with staff notifications. The Staff Notifications feature allows users to add an automation to stages within a hiring pipeline, which notifies users with the selected role type when a candidate moves into the stage.
Staff notifications can be added when creating or editing a pipeline template or from the Workflow tab within a job.
- Once in the Workflow section of a job or pipeline template, select the stage that you would like to notify staff of candidates moving into, click More Events, and then choose Notify Staff.
- Next, select which staff to notify by selecting the role type from the first dropdown menu.
- Then, choose an email template or add a message to the Body section.
- Finally, click Add.
Users with the selected role type will receive a notification when a candidate moves into the stage.
