We know that benefits packages can vary from role to role - that's why occy allows you to create and save multiple benefits sections ready to be attached to different adverts, providing maximum flexibility with minimum admin.
This article will guide you through the steps to add your benefits sections and how to apply them to a role.
Accessing Company Benefits Lists
Benefits sections are stored in the General Settings area of the platform. Access this by choosing Settings from the main menu, then Company Settings and General Settings.

Add a benefits section to the General Settings area by scrolling to the Company Benefits section and clicking Add Another Benefits Section.
- A window will open. Here, add a title of the benefits section (this could be the position level, department, or role associated with the benefits package) and add the benefits list to the description box.
- Finally, click Add to save the section.
- Edit and delete saved benefits sections using the pencil and bin icons next to each list.

Adding Benefits Lists to Jobs
Benefits lists, along with About Company and DE&I sections, can be added to job advert text when creating or editing a job. These sections can have a big impact on candidate engagement.
Add a benefits section to a job at the Job Information stage of job creation.
- Choose the Jobs section from the main menu.
- Click Create a Job at the top of the section, or the pencil icon to edit an existing job.
- Choose whether to use a job template or start with a blank job.
- During the first stage of job creation (Job Information), in the Additional Information tab, you can add job information and advert text.
- After completing the job information and text boxes, the About Company, Company Benefits, and DE&I sections can be added from the Additional Information section.
- Use the tick box next to each section to add them to the job.
- Select alternative benefits sections from the dropdown menu.
- Click Next to continue to the next stage of job creation.
The Benefits section is now attached. To see the job creation process in more detail, take a look at this article: Creating a job.
