Occy provides a streamlined process for agencies to submit candidates to your roles that ensures each candidate is attributed to the correct agency and monitors each agency’s contributions, without the need to add agency users to your Occy account.
This process is broken down into three easy steps:
- Add the agency as a candidate source.
- Provide the unique agency code to your agency contact.
- The agency uses submits the agency code along with the application.
See the full process below.
Adding an Agency as a Candidate Source
Get started by adding the agency as a candidate source. This will generate a unique code that the agency can input when submitting candidates.
- To add an agency as a candidate source, navigate to Settings, Company, and then Candidate Sources.
- Then click +Add Source.
- Next, add the name of the agency in the text box, click Is Agency, and hit Save.
- The agency is now visible in the Candidate Sources list in the Settings area.
- From here, you can edit or delete any sources using the pencil and bin icons.
- The unique codes assigned to each agency are listed under their name. To ensure accuracy and security, occy will provide you with a unique code to share with each agency when setting them up as a source. This code can be found under the agency's name in the Candidate Source list.
Submitting a Candidate as an Agency
- To submit an application on behalf of a candidate, open the public advert.
Note: Agency users do not need to be added as users to the occy system and an occy user from the hiring company will be able to send a link to the public advert to be used for submitting candidates. The public advert link can be found by clicking the three-dot menu next to the hiring plan in the Hiring Plan tab of the job.
- Click the dropdown arrow next to Apply Now, then choose Apply as Agency.
- Fill in all sections, remembering to add the unique agency code – if the agency code isn’t added or is added incorrectly, the application will not be submitted. An email address for the candidate and agency is also required. To ensure the validity of agency email addresses, the system won’t accept personal email addresses such as Gmail or Yahoo.
- Once completed, click Submit Application.
