An Overview of Our Copywriting Service

Improve advert quality and performance with the Occy copywriting service. Upon request, our expert team will review your job templates and adverts and provides bespoke feedback on your adverts with suggestions on how to further optimise them before posting, to help them stand out in a competitive market,


Request copywriting for job templates to allow your whole team to quickly create polished, optimised job adverts without having to request copywriting each time the template is used or request our copywriting service for free when creating a campaign (if selecting the Premium or Lite channel).


Copywriting can be requested for job templates and job adverts during the campaign creation phase. Check out each process below.


Request Copywriting for a Job Template


Occy allows you to build a set of copywritten job templates, which can be used to quickly create jobs for your hiring campaigns any time you need them. You can request copywriting on job templates and use this to post optimised job adverts to any of the posting channels in your products list.


Note: Copywriting requests for job templates incur a charge of 1 Occy credit. Copywriting can only requested once per job template to avoid a repeat charge.


  • Request copywriting for a job template at the bottom of the page when creating or editing the template by clicking the tick box.



Note: Job templates will not be visible in the Job Templates library while copywriting is in progress and can only be viewed in the Copywriting section found in the Settings area. Once the copywriting process is completed, the template will move to the Job Templates library.


  • A confirmation message will appear; click Track Progress to be taken to the Copywriting section.


Request Copywriting When Creating a Job


occy also gives you the option to request copywriting when creating a job. 


  • Request copywriting at the bottom of the third page of job creation - Campaign and Posting.


Copywriting can be requested for free on jobs being posted to the Premium or Lite channel. To request copywriting for a job to be posted to other channels, please create a Job Template.


Note: Jobs will not be visible while copywriting is in progress and can only be viewed in the Copywriting section found in the Settings area. 

  • A confirmation message will appear; click Track Progress to be taken to the Copywriting section.


Track & Review a Copywriting Request


Once copywriting has been requested, the template or job advert can be found in the Copywriting section in the Settings area. From here, you can review the status of your request.



Each copywriting request will have a status. Advert statuses include:

  • Requested - Your request has been sent to the Copywriting team.
  • In Progress - The Copywriting team are reviewing your advert.
  • In Review - The advert or template has been sent back to you for review and confirmation.
  • Revision Requested - You have requested a second revision of the template or advert.
  • Completed - Copywriting has been accepted and completed.

 


When the copywriting request has been processed, you will receive a notification, and the status of the copywriting will change to In Review


  • Use the clipboard icon in the Actions column to review the copywriting feedback sent by the team once your template or advert has an In Review status.


The eye icon can be used to view all versions of a completed copywriting request.



When viewing the copywriting feedback, you will see a message from the Copywriting team that details the areas that have been optimised and why.


To allow you to easily compare the original and copywritten versions, they will be displayed side-by-side in the same format that the template or advert was created, with three separate sections - Elevator Pitch, Job Description, and Requirements.


  • If you are happy with the copywritten version of the advert, click Accept & Save, and the process will be completed. 
  • If you would like the team to make changes, add your requests to the Comments boxes under the relevant section and click Request Revision. The advert will be sent back to the Copywriting team to allow them to make the final adjustments.


  • If you requested a revision, you will receive another notification once the revision is complete. Go to the Copywriting section and click the clipboard icon once again to view the changes.
  • You will now see three versions of each section - the original, the first copywritten version, and the revised copywritten version. Use the tick boxes next to each version to select which version to use for each section. You can choose different versions for each section if necessary.



  • Then, click Finalise to accept and save the job/job template. The copywriting entry will now change from In review to Completed, and the job or job template is now available to use.
