Posting Channels

Posting channels are selected when creating a job or campaign to indicate where a job advert should be posted. Channels vary to suit business needs and budgets and can include a single point of posting or a bundle of job boards. Each channel has a description of what is included.

This article provides a quick overview of the main channels offered on Occy. 

Note: If there is a job board that you are interested in posting to that is not currently offered in Occy, please reach out to your account manager, and they will be happy to liaise with our development team to investigate whether an integration would be viable.

• Occy Free: Occy Free enables users to post a campaign to a network of free job boards and index the advert on Google. This network of boards consists of aggregators not directly integrated with Occy, meaning the boards advertise by copying the advert from another site. To start this process, Occy sends the advert directly to Talent.com, allowing aggregator boards to pick up the advert. As aggregator boards are used and the advert is not sent directly to each board, there may be some variation in which boards separate adverts appear. Common examples include Google and LinkedIn. 

Note: Occy does not have a direct relationship with individual free boards (excluding Talent.com; therefore, we are unable to post directly to a specific board or immediately close adverts early on these sites. 

• Premium: The Premium channel features the UK's major job boards, giving your advert maximum exposure to quality candidates. Boards include CV Library, Monster, Reed Premium, and Total Jobs. Adverts posted through this channel may also be picked up by aggregator boards.
• Lite: The Lite channel offers a smaller selection of job boards, including CV Library, Monster, and Reed Premium. Adverts posted through this channel may also be picked up by aggregator boards. 
• Internal: Use the Internal channel to change your campaigns to a live status without posting an advert publicly. Adverts posted through this channel may also be picked up by aggregator boards. 
• Company Careers Page: The Company Careers Page option will post adverts to your Occy company careers page. Read this article to learn how to create a company careers page within Occy. Adverts posted through this channel may also be picked up by aggregator boards. 
• Company Website: This channel is designed to post adverts to pages integrated with Occy by an API key. This could be a careers page not created within Occy or another company page. Learn more about our API feature here. Adverts posted through this channel may also be picked up by aggregator boards.
